Fostering a Sense of Wonder
During the Early Childhood Years is a curriculum
based on the understanding that creating a sense of
wonder and appreciation for the natural world is important
to the development of young children. The curriculum
includes ideas on what early childhood environmental
education programs should encompass; practical ideas
on how to infuse environmental education into all aspects
of the early childhood curriculum; special considerations
in developing and implementing early childhood environmental
education programs; and tools for evaluating such programs.
